Issued 10:30 AM PDT 22 September 2019 Today Tonight and Monday At 10:30 a.m. PDT today frontal system located over central
Vancouver Island.
By 2:00 p.m. PDT today departing frontal system located over the
Lower Mainland.

At 10:30 a.m. PDT today ridge located west of the offshore waters.
By 8:00 p.m. PDT tonight ridge located over Explorer extending
northward.

At 4:00 p.m. PDT today approaching frontal system located west of
the offshore waters.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:16 AM PDT 22 September 2019 A frontal system over Central Vancouver Island will continue to
produce strong southeasterlies over the inner South Coast this
morning. Gale force northwesterlies will develop over West Vancouver
Island as a ridge of high pressure builds offshore.

Another front will move across the northern offshore waters tonight.
Gale force southeast winds will develop over the offshore waters
tonight then spread to the central and north coasts on Monday.
Winds over the northern waters will become gale to storm force
southwesterlies in the wake of the front.
